1. Conditions: The championship will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf approved by the R&A
1.2 Format: The championship is a one day 18 holes individual strokeplay played from the back tee’s. It is open to youth players 21years and under with a maximum handicap of 18. The championship is played in 2 categories, hcp 0 – 9,9 and hcp 10 – 18.
1.3 In the event of more than one player having the same score a play-off will be played on holes 1& 18 until there is a winner. All other ties will be decided by matching cards over the final 9, 6, 3 or last hole(s).
2. In the event of applications exceeding the maximum of participants the players with the lowest handicaps and date of entry will be deciding.
2.2 Notification of withdrawal must be in writing and in the possession of the committee 48 hours before the competition day. (7th October 2010)This can be per fax or e-mail. Fax +31 573 258450 e-mail jeugd@lochemsegolfclub.nl
3 The local rules on the scorecards are applicable throughout the tournament. If there are any special circumstances they will be published on match day.
3.1 The round is qualifying.
3.2 The use of buggies is not allowed, unless the committee decides otherwise. (medical cert)
3.3 Caddies are not permitted; refusal to comply will result in a penalty of breach of rule 6-4.
3.4 Technical devices including mobile phones and iPod’s. Refusal to comply will result in disqualification R 33.7
4 A player should check in at least 30 minutes before his/her starting time. Scorecards must be returned no later than 10 minutes after finishing the round.
4.2 The player MUST declare his actual handicap. R 6.2B
4.3 The player must be on his/her starting tee 5 minutes before time. Note R 6.3.
4.4 The player must exchange his/her card with fellow competitor, penalty will result in disqualification.
4.5 Courtesy/Debarring. Any player who during the course of the tournament misbehaves by, for example swearing, throwing clubs, vandalizing the golf course or clubhouse will be disbarred.R33-7.
4.6 The competition is in the hands of the Lochemse G&CC de Graafschap, and will have the final ruling is disputes.
4.7 Players, who, during their round, have a dispute about the continuance of play should play a 2nd ball, note both scores and ask the committee for a final ruling before submitting their cards.
4.8 Slow play will be monitored and if necessary be penalized.
4.9 If in the event of extreme weather conditions signals will be sounded using a siren. One long continuous tone play must be immediately suspended. Two short tones, repeated resume play. If a player does not comply he/she will be disqualified R 6-8b.
5. The prize presentation will take place after play has ended, all players, coaches, parents and interested parties are more than welcome.
